  APRIL 25, 2009 MINI REUNION

  Greetings to One and All.

   
  Blue skies, mildly warm weather, and an ample buffet greeted 41 classmates and guests at TVGR on April 25, 2009.
   
  It was a delightful gathering of fellow CHS '58 alumni.  Mary Mills Delfs-Hunter and husband, Chuck, were new additions to our reunions.  They live in Paris, France but vacation in Tucson.  Tom Cullen and wife, Ginger, also joined us for the first time.  There were many regrets from classmates unable to attend, but the consensus of those present was that the event was a great success.
   
  We took a vote on moving the date into the first week in May, but the majority chose to leave it at the end of April.
   
  There was discussion on planning an evening next year at the Gaslight Theatre, either the night before (Friday) or on Saturday evening with a break between the luncheon and whatever melodrama might be presented on Saturday night.  If anyone reading this has an opinion on whether to include this event, or on which night to attend, let me (Fran) know.  You can check out the theatre's web site at:  http://www.thegaslighttheatre.com/.

CAN WE ONLY ASSUME THAT SOME OF YOU TELL YOURSELVES, "I'LL GET BACK TO THIS LATER!?" The mini-reunion took place on April 21st at the Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson, and a good time was had by all. It was a beautiful day weather-wise and other-wise. At one point in the day we thought we were down to 30 people who were going to attend, then we jumped to 36 and then some must have had unexpected circumstances come up, because our final count was 31. We missed those of you who were unable to join us. There were new faces as well as many repeat attendees.
